NEW FACE AT SUNRISE

As you all know by now, Rich Kolb, long time General Manager of Sunrise, has retired. Rich was a tremendous asset to our community and will remain a team player of Sunrise acting as a consultant while our new General Manager gets settled in. Without further ado, I introduce our new General Manager, Jeff Potter! Jeff has been working closely with Rich, the SHA board, and the entire Sunrise staff over the winter months as a means of understanding and immersing himself in the operational nuances of our community to ensure a smooth transition.

Please use jpotter@sunrisevt.com for all email intended for the General Manager to see.

ANNUAL BOILER SERVICE

In effort to mitigate the chance of experiencing no heat emergencies, Sunrise Management recommends all homeowners have their boiler serviced annually. Servicing your boiler is a preventative measure that allows the provider to catch early signs of parts in need of repair/replacement, and most importantly, allows the provider to ensure your boiler has the proper level of antifreeze in the system. Heating service providers are inundated with appointments fall through winter; if you haven’t had your boiler serviced in the past year, we recommend scheduling a service visit this spring/summer. It’s never too early!

TRASH HUT INFORMATION

As you all know, Sunrise is actively trying to discourage bears from visiting our community. The efforts put forth last year by both staff and homeowners proved to be successful. It is of upmost importance that all occupants of Sunrise assist in our mission to deter bears by eliminating their access to food.
