“Silent Cal” Snowshoe Trek
February 23, 2019 @ 2:30 am - 3:30 pm
FreeMove over Washington and Lincoln! We’re capping off Presidents’ Week with a tip of the hat to our country’s 30th President and Vermont native, Calvin Coolidge!
Calvin Coolidge grew up just 10 miles from Killington in Plymouth Notch. Although “Silent Cal” didn’t say much, we know he said this about his love of the great outdoors; “I love Vermont because of her hills and valleys, her scenery and invigorating climate.” So do we, Cal! That’s why we’re honoring you with a walk in the winter woods!
Get invigorated this Saturday, February 23 at 2:30 with a FREE guided Snowshoe Trek into our hills and valleys!
All ability levels are welcome to join this 1-hour trek. Use your own snowshoes or borrow some of ours. The trek meets at the Snowshoe Hut behind falls Brook Common and finishes at the heated Community Tent with a bonfire, hot chocolate, and homemade cookies.
BYOB welcome!
