Hazy, Hot & Humid

Oh, and we can add record rain amounts for the month of May and June!  Include the few days into July, and Vermont is 11 for 11 in rain days. With this tropical weather, we are recommending that homeowners with basements consider bringing up an auto-draining dehumidifier. Please be proactive since many of the basements are damp, which could mean some musty issues in the near future.

Since flood watches are posted daily, we have had to curtail some deck and retaining wall installations, plus exterior painting projects. We do appreciate your understanding about the delays.

The good news is dry weather is forecast starting this Friday thru the next week. So, celebrate and plan on attending the annual Killington Wine Festival which starts Friday, July 19th, and runs through Sunday, July 21st.
