Outback at Falls Brook Common you will find activities that are fun for the entire family! The Sunrise Trail Network offers miles of marked trails that are suitable for all abilities. Our winter activities include snow shoeing, back country skiing, sledding, ice skating and more! We have all the equipment you need to take part in these activities. Winter Fun & Games

Complimentary ice skates, sleds, puff hockey equipment, snow shoes and XC skis are available at the snowshoe hut Outback at Falls Brooks Common. We promote the use of personal ice skates when available and strongly encourage helmets on the pond and sledding course. All equipment must be signed out and back in daily. Please note, all outdoor activities are weather permitting.

 

Skiing and Snow Shoeing: By day, miles of wooded trails are yours to explore. After dusk, experience the magic of the forest at night with a trek around the Village Pond Solar Light Loop. All trails are open daily. Please be sure to sign in & sign out at the Snowshoe Hut.

The Hideout: Every Saturday from 2pm-8pm, the Hideout Camp will be open for your use. At camp, you will be greeted with music and a burning fire. The heated tent has a table and plenty of seating so pack some snacks and BYOB. Please remember to pack out what you pack in.

 

The Ice Pond: Show off your double axel or score some goals in a puff hockey game on the ice pond. The pond is open daily for use until 8pm.

 

Sledding Hill: Take a sled down the groomed hill outback! Sledding is open daily until 8pm

 

Saturday Night’s Outback: Every Saturday night a fire burns Outback at Falls Brook Common where hot cocoa and homemade cookies are served and music fills the air!

FACILITY RULES

All facilities are weather permitted.  Please abide by all posted signs.

All facilities are “Use at your own risk”

Children under the age of 12 must be chaperoned by an adult for all activities

All skis and snowshoes must be signed out upon departure and signed back in before 5pm-No overnight rentals

Helmets are encouraged while on the ice and sledding hill
