President’s Week

What a fantastic start to February. It has snowed nearly every day this month delivering 50+ inches of snow here at Killington. If you have been contemplating making the trip up, here’s some subtle advice to help sway your decision: GET HERE!

President’s week starts this weekend and we imagine many of you are looking to finalize plans for your visit. Below is the schedule of activities that will be happening right here at Sunrise:

DOG SLED RIDES: Thursday, February 23rd 4pm-6pm

Meet us Outback at Fallsbrook for a FREE Dog Sled Ride on the backcountry trails at Sunrise. This is a first come – first serve event that you don’t want to miss. Rain or Shine-Hell or High Snow, the dogs will be waiting to give you and your family a ride that is sure to leave a smile on your face. See you out there!

 

THE SUNRISE CAFÈ SMOKEHOUSE!: Thursday, February 23rd 5pm-9pm

The Sunrise Café is firing up the grill offering a BBQ Buffet for ONE NIGHT ONLY. We’ll be serving up smoked ribs, brisket, chicken, turkey breast, and salmon along with your favorite traditional BBQ sides.

$25 per Adult  $15 Children 10 and under

Please note, we will not be serving from our regular menu during this event. Reservations are strongly encouraged.

ESCAPE TO THE HIDEOUT: February 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th 2PM-4PM

Slip on a pair of snowshoes and make your way through the backcountry. Your trek will lead you to the Hideout Camp- a cozy tent tucked back in the woods. At camp, you will be greeted with a burning camp fire, warm soup, hot cocoa and music to boot! Grab your family and friends and Escape to the Hideout!

 

GUIDED TWILIGHT SNOWSHOE TREK: February 18th, 19th, 25th, 26th 5:30PM-6:30PM

Wander along our softly lit trails just after sunset. This adventure will have you back in time for dinner at The Sunrise Café and/or activities Outback at Fallsbrook Common.

 

COOKIES BY THE CAMPFIRE: February 18th & 23rd 4pm-7pm 

Find a seat by the fire or in the warming tent and enjoy some music, hot cocoa and cookies Outback at Falls Brook! Music can be heard on the pond and sledding hill so come prepared for a pick-up game of puff hockey or a race down the hill.

DINNER 5pm-9pm: Feb. 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 23rd(BBQ Night), 24th, 25th
