The Madden Basin is Back!

Along with weekly themed guided Snowshoe Tours!

It’s been a long two years, but logging on the property around the Sunrise Trail system is finally over and access to our beautiful back yard is no longer restricted.

We’re also happy to report the loggers left the deep woods of the Madden Basin largely untouched. The magic of Vermont’s winter wilderness is once again yours to explore!

Whether you’ve never experienced the Basin or just want to get reacquainted with the wilder side of the Sunrise Trail system, join us this Saturday, January 26 at 2:30 for a FREE guided snowshoe trek around the Madden Basin Loop.

Additionally, Sunrise is opening up reservations for our Personalized Outdoor Dining Experiences!

Events can be hosted in both the Hideout Tent as well as our new Community Tent. Both tents are heated and fully lit with music to bring the life to your party. These tents are perfect for your après ski or après snowshoe adventures. We are available for custom catering from the Sunrise Cafe in the afternoon or evening. All events are BYOB.
