Sunrise Christmas Updates and Events.

Happy Holidays to all Homeowners,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for your kindness and community spirit here at Sunrise. We were revved up for an awesome start to the ski and ride season, only to be thwarted by the past weekend of negative weather events, thus leading to limited snow conditions.

However, the Sunrise staff and Killington will move ahead to make this a great holiday season for all by the initiating the following schedules and events.

  • Killington will be offering a free shuttle service for homeowners and guests. From 7am to 5 pm, a shuttle service will run every 20 minutes from Falls Brook Commons to either Bear Mountain or Snowshed. Please let the driver know where you would like to be dropped off. The last service will be from Snowshed to Sunrise.
  • Though the weather has compromised the ski slopes, the Sunrise ice skating pond will be available to our homeowners and guests. The skating pond will be well lit, and open until 8pm every evening. We do have a limited number of ice skates, so we encourage you to bring your own. As with all snow sports, wearing a helmet is strongly recommended.
  • Next to the ice skating, we have picnic tables and the warming tent serving hot chocolate and daily soup specials.
  • Our third annual New Year’s Eve party begins at 4pm, and we drop the ball at 6pm! Come celebrate at the Sunrise Café!
  • Check the Sunrise web site for holiday updates and events.
