Last Minute Seasonal Work Requests & More Autumn Highlights!
With the turning of seasons, the Sunrise community continues to prepare for more outstanding autumn foliage and events around Killington, VT…Now is the time to submit any requests for seasonal work in preparation for winter. Please contact the office as soon as possible regarding any new work orders. The Sunrise community should also be made aware that Killington Resort & Adventure Center will have restricted operating hours this weekend: For the past three years, Spartans have descended on Killington Mountain for the Spartan World Championship. For 2015, that honor will be bestowed upon Lake Tahoe, California (1st weekend Oct.). So, while Killington may not be hosting the World Championship, the mountain is still there to dish out a world class Beast race for participants. This year the Spartan Race is calling upon the baddest beasts of the East to come tear up the terrains where Spartan has its roots. Located in what is known as ‘Joe’s backyard,’ Killington is where Spartan Race was founded.
