Brrrrr! It’s Cold!
A significant Arctic blast of cold air has settled in Vermont for the week. The sub-zero temperatures have kept our maintenance staff busy with a strong surveillance and response time at the Village to keep units from damaging temperatures, which can cause freezing pipes to burst. The temperatures are supposed to moderate this weekend, however, as a precaution, we recommend you set the thermostats at 55 ° to 60°, and open cabinets which have water pipes to keep them from freezing upon your departure.
The skiing and riding will be very good this weekend. The temperatures have helped keep the snow conditions consistent; the guns are blazing on the popular ski trails. Take breaks, and dress for the cold weather. After all, there is no such thing as bad weather, only dressing badly for the weather!
