NEWS UPDATE: New footage of “The Sunrise Yeti”

On Thursday, January 18th, two patrons of the Sunrise Café took a selfie at the bottom of The Sunrise Village Triple before returning to the slopes. It wasn’t until they were back on the chairlift looking through their photos when they realized, they weren’t alone…While capturing a moment-in-time of their happy ski date, they coincidently captured a rare photo of the legendary phenomenon.

After several weeks of tracking this creature of the cold, Sunrise personal is now reaching out to the public for help. On Saturday, January 27th from 4:30-5:30pm, Sunrise is asking homeowners and guests alike to join the search.

The search party will be meeting at the snowshoe hut Outback at Falls Brook. This expedition will require snowshoes and headlamps which will be provided by Sunrise to those in need. No person is too young or too old to help in ending the pursuit of The Sunrise Yeti.
