Turn it Up! Churn it Up!
The snow conditions are steadily improving. Wildfire is A-mazing! It was groomed from top to bottom with a nice 2-inch layer of packed powder to make any kind of turn to match your mood. Elsewhere, Sky Lark, Bittersweet, Chute, and all the other main trails were nicely groomed, but not like Wildfire.

Now that our valiant snowmakers have us skiing and riding down to Skyeship, they’re onto tackling their next big project – the Sunrise Village. They’ve had guns on Bear Cub for a couple of days and last night they added Sun Dog to the mix in order to connect the Sunrise Village and soon bring that triple chair online for those staying in the condos on that side of the mountain. We’re expecting to see that chair spinning later in the week – maybe as soon as Thursday.
Lower Superstar is closed due to a serious make-over on the snow conditions. The groomers churned up the frozen hardpack into ice boulders and death cookies. They will continue to grind the frozen debris down to a skiable surface over the next few days; look for a well-groomed Superstar this coming weekend.
