Open Your Horizons
As we stumble through January’s sputtering snow and rain events, sustaining a positive attitude is essential. Use the current conditions (hard and fast) to finesse edge-to edge turns by initiating the carve at the top of the turn, maintain the edging into the bowl, and accelerate at the bottom of the turn, then smoothly transition into the next turn while maintaining a stacked position, with hips and core facing down the hill. Easy right?? Determine which turn side is the strongest and work the weaker side to develop consistent rhythmic turns. Or, just have fun skidding and slipping your way down the hill with friends and family. Either way, make it fun and safe.

In closing, open your horizons to feel the joy of where we are today and give gratitude to the hardworking staff at Killington for making this difficult season a positive experience for you and your family and friends.
