Fourth of July Events and Sunrise Updates
The 4th of July in the Killington area brings lots of folksy, farm style, family-fun activities. Come up to Sunrise to get in on 4th of July, Vermont style. Please note that gas and charcoal grills are NOT ALLOWED IN ANY MULTI-FAMILY DWELLINGS having three or more units. If you are on the ground floor of a unit, you may use a grill, however it must be a MINIMUM of 10 feet from the building. The outdoor pool will be heated starting this 4th of July weekend. We hope you enjoyed the transformation of the wintery back yard at Sunrise into family-fun recreational area that was well attended by many homeowner families and guests. The Community Warming Tent was the place to be on Saturday nights for hot chocolate, soup, and home-baked cookies; while the bonfire burned brightly to warm us up even when the temperatures dipped below zero.

We can safely say that spring is in the air at last! The sap is running for maple syrup production; tree buds are forming in the lower elevations; and the snow is beginning to melt on most south and west exposures. We wish to thank everyone for a very successful season at the Sunrise Café. The café will be open for dinner ONLY this Friday and Saturday. Call for a reservation and enjoy the last of Chef Jakub’s epicurean dishes for the rest of the year.
