Happy New Year!

The Sunrise Staff wishes you, your family and friends a happy, healthy, snowy, and successful 2015.

Now that the Sunrise Lift is open, normal operations at Sunrise resume. The Sunrise Café will be serving lunches Thursday – Sunday, and dinners Friday and Saturday once the holiday season ends. Please refer to the Sunrise Café page to take a look at the new menu offerings in case you have not dined at the Café yet. Also, please let your guests and renters know about the Café page on the web site.

The Saturday evening “Backyard Bonfire and Skating Party” venue will start this weekend as well. The tent will provide hot chocolate, homemade cookies, and a soup de jour. The ice skating pond is open, and the bonfire will be burning brightly, and music will fill the air. All is in place for your enjoyment!

A note about safety: please drive at the recommended speed. The roads are narrower due to the snow banks, there is ice around the turns, and pedestrians on the road as well. Slow down!

Plus, please walk cautiously on the walkways and in the parking lots, especially if you are wearing ski boots or slick soled shoes. Due to the recent warm weather, and freezing temperatures, it is very easy to slip on the ice, despite the amount of sand that was thrown down. Take your time!
