a safe, and happy Christmas season.
Sunrise has now moved into the winter schedule. The Falls Brook Commons will be open from 8am to 9pm daily. The outdoor hot tub hours are 2 pm to 8 pm, daily. The hours of operation are posted on the front page of the sunrise web site, as well as the Sports Center.
The Sunrise Lift is not running yet. Killington has decided to wait out the upcoming warm weather event that is supposed to arrive Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Not much of a gift from Mother Nature! However, there will be a shuttle bus service from 8 am to 5 pm daily. The bus will pick up at the Falls Brook Commons, then go to Bear Mountain, onto Snowshed, and end at Killington Base Lodge. If you plan to take the bus, make sure you can get back to your unit by either dropping off a car, or having someone available to pick you up. Another option is to ski back to your unit from Bear Cub/Sun Dog, which is possible, but we are not advising skiing back to your unit. Check our web site after Christmas to get the latest updates and to see if the Sunrise Chair is spinning. Or, go to the Killington web site and check the daily lift and trails report.
The Sunrise Café will open December 26th for lunch (when the lift turns), and dinner throughout the Christmas Holiday week. The new menus are posted on the Sunrise Café page on the web site. The Café is now offering a to-go menu for those who wish to eat in.
