It’s Spring…Or Is It?
Since Wednesday, snow conditions, sunshine, and temperatures provided us a tantalizing preview of spring skiing conditions. The previous two weeks of frigid temperatures are keeping the snow surfaces from melting too fast, so the conditions are amazing! March 20th is the first day of Spring, but Mother Nature does not really care, she has her own agenda. As we look ahead to this weekend and into next week, the temperatures are forecast to drop, and snow is in the picture. With that said…
It’s fun to take a photo journey back in time at Sunrise. During the winter of 2014, we received a HUGE amount of snow in late March. Maybe Mother Nature will gift us with more snow so we can enjoy a long and plentiful spring skiing season.

Please check the Killington Conditions and Weather as well as the Trail and Lift Report daily before booting up to ski or ride. In early spring, trail closures are temporary and are based on temperatures and snow conditions. Depending on temperatures, ropes can drop on closed trails in the afternoons.
