Please, Not Another Groomer!

Remember that terrible frozen snow dump last week? Fast forward to this week! Gone are the frozen chunks, icy patches, and bulletproof bumps that we had to avoid in order to survive! Several snowfalls passed through Killington during the week leaving a blanket of beautiful snow to cover that frozen mess. Now is the time to sample the ungroomed trails that makes Killington the Beast of the East! The coverage is great, the warming temperatures are delightful, and more snow is in the forecast for next week.

Yesterday I was out with a few ski buddies and we decided that Sky Hawk was the pick trail of the day. Not to sound like a broken record, Escapade to Flume was much better than the groomed Cascade top to bottom. To summarize, all trail conditions should be splendid with the warmer temperatures arriving on Saturday. And March is historically a great snow month so be ready to track up the trails!
